1. Concept of IQF refrigeration system
IQF refrigeration system Also known as the system of super-fast freezing of loose products. The symbol IQF is the English abbreviation of Individual Quickly Freezer. This system uses conveyor belts moving at slow speed. During the moving process, the products that need to be frozen will be exposed to cold air with gradually lower temperatures.

IQF refrigeration system classification has three main types as follows:
– Spiral conveyor freezer, also known as Spiral IQF
– Straight IQF conveyor freezer
– Super fast conveyor freezer: Impingement IQF
In the workshop or factory, the IQF refrigeration system chamber is combined with other conveyors such as steaming, cooling, drying, glazing conveyors and refreezing chambers.
2. APPLICATION
IQF (Individual Quickly Freezer) refrigeration system is also known as super fast freezing system for loose products.
There are types of IQF such as: IQF for freezing shrimp, unshaped seafood uses Net Belt made of stainless steel or PVC; IQF for shaped seafood, or meat uses Plate Belt made of stainless steel; IQF for vegetables, fruits, and agricultural products uses Fluid tunnel.

- This system has evaporator temperature: -40 degrees C to -45 degrees C, so it must use a 2-stage compressor, screw or piston.
- Conveyor capacity: 600kg/hr, 1000kg/hr, 1200kg/hr, 2000kg/hr, freezing time from input to output is from 6-15 minutes.
