Outstanding technical characteristics of Tan Long’s evaporative condenser

+ High thermal efficiency, low operating costs, low maintenance costs, low installation costs
+ The entire evaporative condenser structure is made of stainless steel, ensuring high corrosion resistance, prolonging product lifespan, reducing initial costs”
+ Main components such as fans, motors, and spray water pumps are selected as specialized types, ensuring durability in harsh environments.
+ Direct-drive fan system, high efficiency, energy-saving.
+ Various capacities, designed to meet customer usage requirements.

Principle operation

The refrigerant vapor at high temperature and pressure is directed into the upper steam collecting pipe to reach the heat exchange tubes. Here, the hot gas exchanges heat with the water and condenses into liquid, then flows into the high-pressure storage tank located below. The equipment is cooled by a water spray system from evenly distributed spray nozzles located directly above the heat exchange tubes.
The water, after exchanging heat with the refrigerant, heats up and is cooled by forced air movement in the opposite direction from bottom to top. Therefore, the temperature of the water remains almost unchanged. All the heat absorbed by the refrigerant has been expelled by the air. The air is forced to move by fans placed either above (exhaust fans) or below (blower fans). Make-up water is supplied completely automatically via a float valve.

Heat exchanger coil

+ The heat exchange coil is completely hot-dipped galvanized after assembly, with a zinc layer thickness of up to 70 microns, significantly extending the lifespan of the coil.
+ Oval heat exchange tubes measuring 21.6 x 31.7 mm with a thickness of 1.5 mm increase heat exchange efficiency. The heat exchange tubes have no welded joints, minimizing risks during usage.
+ Designed pressure of 20 bar, the heat exchange coil undergoes rigorous pressure and leak testing according to standards before and after hot-dip galvanization to ensure safety before use.

Axial fan

+ Fan blades directly mounted onto the motor for high transmission efficiency, simple construction, and low maintenance costs.
+ Large-diameter, low-speed fans generate lower noise levels compared to conventional fans, reducing noise by 3-5dB. The airflow is uniform, saving energy. Fan blades made of high-strength aluminum alloy are lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
+ Specialized motors for the evaporative condenser have a high IP55 protection level, suitable for harsh environments and high temperatures.

Water pump

+ Horizontal shaft water pumps are specialized for the evaporative condenser, with low head and high flow rate, consuming less energy.
+ The water pump is installed inside the evaporative condenser
minimizing environmental impact and long-term duration.
+ WEG or Siemens motors with high IP55 protection levels and low power consumption.
+ The pump’s suction head is equipped with a strainer and an anti-swirl device to ensure stable operation. The discharge head is fitted with a flow switch to protect the motor.

Water baffle plates:

+ Made of PVC plastic, optimized design minimizes water loss during operation.
+ Resistant to harsh environments, with high durability and long-term duration.

Water spray nozzles

+ Large-diameter nozzles with high flow rates prevent clogging, ensuring even and continuous water distribution over the coil, improving heat exchange efficiency
+ Easy to disassemble for cleaning.

Air intakes

+ Made of stainless steel SUS 304, ensuring easy airflow while preventing water splashes, keeping the evaporative condenser dry, and saving water.
Air intakes are positioned on all four sides for convenient cleaning and operation.
