Services

Tan Long's industrial refrigeration services are a complete package covering survey, design, equipment manufacturing at the factory, installation, commissioning and maintenance for processing plants, cold stores and cold chain infrastructure. Tan Long was founded in 2005, builds most of its equipment at the plant in Duc Hoa, Tay Ninh (formerly Long An) and has delivered 29 landmark projects across the country.

Five core services

ServicesFor use withWhat Tan Long takes on
Cold storage design consultingNew-build projects, refurbishments, and investors who need documentation to go out to tenderCooling load calculation, refrigerant and equipment selection, layout planning, drawings and cost estimate
Cold storage installationStorage cold rooms, freezing rooms and chiller rooms for plants and distribution centresPIR/PU panels, floor, cold storage doors, refrigeration system, electrical controls, acceptance and handover
NH3 refrigerationLarge seafood and food plants, cold stores above 1,000 tonnesDesign and manufacture of pressure vessels and air coolers, compressor installation, pipework, control panels, commissioning, operator training
Industrial refrigeration systemPlants using Freon, glycol chilled water or chillersCooling load calculation, refrigerant selection, supply and installation of the compressor pack, air coolers and controls
Cold storage maintenancePlants with an existing cold store, including systems built by other contractorsCondition survey, scheduled maintenance, repair, manufacture of replacement equipment, fault rectification

These five services follow the life cycle of a cold storage project: design → construction → operation and maintenance. An investor can commission each step separately or hand the whole package to a single point of contact.

Why use a single turnkey contractor

When the equipment scope and the construction scope go to two different companies, the risk usually appears in three places: a mismatch in capacity between the design and the equipment actually installed, a dispute over responsibility when the system fails to hold temperature, and a drawn-out commissioning period. Tan Long takes the package from design through to warranty, so the investor deals with one party only.

  • Equipment built in house: air coolers, pressure vessels, IQF freezer conveyors and flake ice machines are produced at the Duc Hoa plant in Tay Ninh, cutting the wait for imported equipment.
  • One warranty holder: the same contractor is responsible for both the envelope and the refrigeration machinery.
  • Complete acceptance documentation: as-built drawings, commissioning records and operating instructions handed over to the plant's technical team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Tan Long take on turnkey projects or only supply equipment?

Both. Most projects are turnkey: design, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning and maintenance. An investor can also order equipment on its own, such as air coolers, IQF freezer conveyors or flake ice machines.

NH3 or Freon for a new plant?

Large plants running continuously with a dedicated operations team usually choose NH3, for its high energy efficiency and low refrigerant cost. Medium-sized plants that need fast installation and have less complex operating safety requirements usually choose Freon or glycol chilled water. Tan Long calculates the cooling load first and only then proposes a refrigerant.

How long does it take to build an industrial refrigeration system?

The duration depends on the capacity and on how ready the site is. Tan Long fixes specific dates in the contract after the survey and design stage, with a milestone for each work package.

Does Tan Long maintain systems installed by other contractors?

Yes. Tan Long carries out condition inspections, repairs and scheduled maintenance on refrigeration systems built by other contractors, after surveying and assessing the condition of the equipment.

How do I request a quotation?

Call the hotline on 028 3849 4943 or Mr. Thinh on 0933 357 058, or send a request through the contactpage. Tan Long needs your throughput, required temperature and site area to prepare a quotation.
